CAD short cuts with a little more effort Match properties (MA) You can match the properties of for example a red line onto a blue line, to make it red. Works with text, linetypes and many other objects.
Red activated grips are easier to use than blue grips.
Click an object and you will see blue grips. Then right mouse to see a large menu.
Click a blue grip again, which is called activating a grip, then right mouse to see a much smaller and useful right mouse pop up menu.
Lengthen command (LEN)
Click a horizontal or vertical line to see it's blue grips. Activate one of the end grips to lengthen or shorten the line with Orto mode on.
However this is not so easy with a sloping line, which is difficult to stretch whilst keeping the angle. So use Lengthen command and it's dynamic option.
The other options of lengthen command, delta, percent and total are also useful.
Quick Select (QSE)
You can use this tool to select objects in the whole or part of a drawing by criteria. For example all lines on a layer, all circle of radius value = etc.
