Troubleshooting the Multi-line text command When you start multi-line text you are asked to define a box with 2 specified points in which the text will be placed.
However this leads to the text being placed at the top left hand corner of the box unless you select the justify option and choose MC (Middle centre) if you wish the text to be centrally placed in the box.
The next issue is the default size of the text which in metric drawings is a height of 2.5 units. That's too small to view in typical metric drawings. Bear in mind that the height of text needs to appear alongside lines of perhaps 5000 or 7000 units. So around 650 units usually works but this depends on the size (Not scale) of your work in model space.
To achieve this you need to find the text size box and change it's value to 650 followed by enter key to accept.
Now here's the rub. The text input box will fill the screen.
No problem. Just type the first letter. Find the close button for the text editor.
Then double click on the letter which will now appear as the correct size.
You can now use the multi-line text editor with normal size of text.
Multi-line text has additional symbols such as degrees, squared etc
